  We got a beautiful birthday cake here, for a wonderful price! Tasted good too! The Minnie and Mickey Luau cake had every detail, lots of color, beautiful frosted flowers all over! Perfect!!!

  I worked in this store for almost 7 years! It was my first job and a great experience. Nob hill really is a great grocery store, and it is a misconception that they are more expensive than Safeway, they really do have cheaper products. I don't shop in this store often anymore since I live in capitola, and no longer work here, but I do continue to shop at the Capitola store!

  Nob Hill became my favorite market a couple of years ago when competitor Safeway across the street was bought by a private equity firm. They stopped carrying house branded frozen vegetables along with other items and raised prices across the store. So I switched to Nob Hill for most of my grocery shopping. They likely noticed an increase in business. It's a friendly store with lower prices on many items than Safeway. That isn't 100% but enough to where I would switch. Nice produce department. Has a bakery and a deli. I had originally hooked on Safeway due to the "Just for U" rewards card promotions, which I still use. However, I discovered that Nob Hill also has a "Something Extra" rewards promotion program that works really well. I saved $6.04 with it this morning at Nob Hill.
